STANDARDS




This lesson addresses all four Delaware ELA Standards:

                  1) Uses written (Web forms) and oral (student discussions and presentations)   English
                  appropriate for various purposes (Web task, completing steps of assignment for a
                  grade) and audiences (teacher, group, whole class).

                  2) Construct / examine /extend the meaning of literary, informative, and technical texts
                  (from the Internet) through listening (group and whole class discussions /
                  presentations), reading (on Internet), and viewing (on Internet pages).

                  3) Access, organize, and evaluate (from teacher directed Internet tasks, teacher
                  generated forms, group and whole class discussions, and student presentations)
                  information gained through listening, reading, and viewing (see #2 above).

                  4) Use literary knowledge accessed through print and visual media (Internet, teacher
                  forms) to connect self to society and culture (topics for tasks).

In addition, this lesson also addresses larger technology standards.
